Combimist Inhaler consists of Albuterol, Ipratropium Bromide.
Albuterol - Combimist Inhaler (Albuterol) (also known as salbutamol) is used to treat wheezing and shortness of breath caused by breathing problems such as asthma. Combimist Inhaler (Albuterol) belongs to a class of drugs known as bronchodilators. It works in the airways by opening breathing passages and relaxing muscles. Indication: For maintenance treatment of bronchospasm associated with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, including chronic bronchitis and emphysema.
Combimist Inhaler (Ipratropium Bromide), a synthetic ammonium compound structurally similar to atropine, is used as a bronchodilator in the management of cholinergic-mediated bronchospasm associated with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and in the treatment of rhinorrhea associated with the common cold or with allergic or nonallergic seasonal rhinitis.
