Ketazon Flex consists of Carisoprodol, Piroxicam.
Carisoprodol - A centrally acting skeletal muscle relaxant whose mechanism of action is not completely understood but may be related to its sedative actions. Indication: For the relief of discomfort associated with acute, painful, musculoskeletal conditions.
Ketazon Flex (Carisoprodol) is used as a skeletal muscle relaxant. One of its metabolites, meprobamate, is available as an anxiolytic agent.
Piroxicam - A cyclooxygenase inhibiting, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent (NSAID) that is well established in treating rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis and used for musculoskeletal disorders, dysmenorrhea, and postoperative pain. Its long half-life enables it to be administered once daily.
Indication: For treatment of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.
